Carefully she picked her steps, placing her flints carefully. She tried to keep her sweet in heat scent in, but she couldn't help it. It flew openly behind her. Wearily she kept an eye out for forcers, but hopefully the only encounters she would have with stallions here would be about a claimence to take place. Her paperthins flared, making her appearance deceive her as an Arabian lined blood. She found a large oak, standing on it's lonesome. Quietly she thanked the good lord, then backed her rump forcefully against it. For protection's sake.
For the love of pete, a mare has to watch her every move around this place,
she scoffed. The she called out for a stag to come and take her home.... To come and love her... To come and be her trusted mate. Even though she was up against the faithful oak, she let a trace of her scent to draw any welcome visitors.

~Fire Eater~ Fine stallion picked up his pillars in a lively way as he trotted across the empty plain. Then something caught his eye, he brought his mass to a stop to get a better look. He looked 'round and saw a big oak and a bay dove pushing 'er rump against it. But in yet she let her scent out? He had a mind to keep going but he hadn't talked to an equine in weeks, he figured he would at least make a friend of this dove.
This fae didn't look like a dark, he concluded as he examined her further. So he would approach her. He leaned back onto his haunches and launched into a beautiful canter. His plume danced and weaved behind him, 'is banner strait up and streaming behind 'im. 'Ello m'lady. he said taking a low bow then standing tall, as if proud. I am Fire Eater, but you may call me Fire if you wish. he said softly, beginning to prance a little because he was naturally hyper. Would you bless me with your name? he asked prancing in place. He tryed to make himself stop but he couldn't, he just couldn't hold still! This is so embarrassing!

Femmora raised her downcast pools to view the silver brujo before her elegant bodice. Without warning her audits tipped back flat, but just for saftey reasons. Once the femme knew he meant no harm to herself, she stepped 2 strides away from the tree. 'Twas still in an easy distance if she might have to run to it. Hopefully she would not.
'ello, sir. I carry the dubbance of Amber Nights, but please, do call me Amber. Are you familiar with these parts?
Vixen spoke in a kind tone, her tassel raised proudly and boa arched to a curve. She herself had a urging to prance, but it seemed she had a bit more self control then this one. Of course, Amber was not always self controled. Sometimes she needed a strong hand to guide her own. But at the moment, she had none and that thought made her do it herself. She herself had a hard time keeping a straight face at the 'dancing' brujo before her elegant bod. But then the thought occured to her... was somthing wrong?
Fire, is there something I can do?
Her orbs were a bit quizzical and wondering as her dial was tilted at a questioning angle. She pawed the earthen floor with her fore leg, churning up a cloud of brown dust. She waited, hoping she needn't do anything. Just for the fact that she didn't want anything to be wrong.

Fire tryed to calm himself down, he just wasn't apt to holding still. His auds pricked listning to Amber speak. Finaly, he stopped his 'dance', but his legs still shook a little, wanting to go somewhere or even *gulp* 'prance'. He thought it a childish thing to do, but he couldn't help it sometimes. Dial held high, out of habit, he looked down at the femme. He didn't have to look far though. . . .
Yes m'lady, I am very familiar with these parts. I used to reside here, in a cave, just there.
He moitioned with 'is dial tward wht looked like a black hole in the side of a rock. He listened to her speak again, this time concerning words for him. Why did she want to do something for him? Well there was something wrong. . . . But that was years ago, and he didn't want to go trudging through the dark pages of his past to tell her wht was wrong, so he said this and waited an answer. . . . . . . .
No Amber, there is nothing you can do. . . . The damage is done. . . . .

She nodded at his words, her silky ebon' forelock brushing on her forehead. Smiling she looked to where he had motioned. The cave looked satisfying, but probably not for long.
I see. It probably comes in handy to know your way around here.
She restrained from clenching her teeth; those words were painful to speak. It reminded her of her previous home... losing herself in the forest, and a bachleour herd claim her for pleasure.
What damage?
she smiled at this, for she didn't see what harm it could have done. She didn't mind; she could be much worse at times.

Fire snorted loudly and stomped his hoof into the ground, remembering his past he'd long forgotten.
The damage of my foalhood!
He blurted, not so much loud, but rushed. He wasn't mad at her, nor lashing out at her, it just hurt alot. He noticed the look she gave tward the cave, almost jeering at it. He had been searching for a land all day, he wanted to blurt that too, but decided against it. He was naturaly moody, hyper, and strongwilled. But when clashed together, they didn't make him look exactly flattering. . . . He figured she'd turn him away now, thinking he lashed out at her. . . Then he muffled these words he said to no one. . . .
Sorry 'bout that. . .

She silently opened her maw at his words, and pulled her head up in suprise. She thought the pair were getting somwhere with this, than all of a sudden that? But she knew that it was out of bad memories. So she put her dial down, and ears flicked forward. As he mumbled the last few words, she smiled softly.
It's fine. I can get like that too.
The bay femme smiled, and took a step back forward. Sighing she still was hoping that maybe he could give her a home. But it would be rude of her to ask; she would have to wait and see if he would ask her.

Stag looked up at the femme, he tossed 'is dished cranium, surprised she hadn't taken it offensively. He wondered if she would be his mate?
Oh what would a vix like her want with a stag like me anyway?
He thought to himself, he looked up at the quickly darkening sky, it was dusk, fireflys filled the air. It was a pretty sight. He stood taller, out of habbit, and he uttered the words scarcly out his mug, he thought he would say to no one else. . . . . . .
Would you be my mate, Amber?. . . . .

She too looked up into the dusky sky. Stars were starting to twinkle, and the cool mist was beginning to settle around them. Her orbs sifted through the landscape, making sure no danger was lingering. Then, she looked to him. She heard his words.
I... I... What I'm trying to say is yes.
She knew before that she wanted this. But when the lyrics finally reached her auds, it was too much. But she knew.... she knew that it would be yes. So it didn't take that long for her to decide. She smiled at him.
Thank you... thank you for even asking,
she said. Smiling, she reached out her muzzle and nudged his nape. Smiling to herself she waited for his response.

Fire nuzzled the faes nape gently, his auds heard her say 'yes' but 'is thinkbox pondered otherwise. He was a bit confused with her answer, did he have a mate or didn't he? He decided quickly he did or she would have said no. He was a brujo adapt to rejection.
Well m'lady, shall I go again and search for a land to call our own?
He asked sweetly, boa in a fine arch as the lyrics left 'is kissers. . . . . . \\\Blah, shortness . \\\\\

She smiled, and her orbs twinkled. She pawed the ground and flicked away some insects with her tassel. Nudging his muzzle, she nodded.
Yes, I suppose you should. And I'll be there with you,
she said, for that was the best thing. Nowhere here was safe for herself on her own. Plus, she was in heat so that would only make things worse. Smiling she nuzzled his withers, waiting for him to lead the way.

Fire glanced at Amber in a loving way and gently nudged 'er nape bafore picking up a lively trot across the plain tward the lands. He hoped he could find one this time, he then wondered what her alliance was. . . . He figured neutral but he didn't know, so maybe he should ask?
Amber?
He said looking o'er his shoulder for a split second then continued to speak. . . .
What is your alliance?

A smile molded onto her soft maw. At once her pillars curved for a 2-beat after her new mate. Her auds then picked up his lyrics, and she listened intently. She nodded, and spoke.
Neutral... I suppose. Haven't given much thought to it, really, but I suppose that's what I am.
She shrugged as she stopped the walk she had started. Her tassel lowered as her pace did too. Feeling a bit hungry, she bent her dial down mindlessly and nibbled. She then raised it and waited for Fire to continue.

Then I know the perfect one.
He said triumphantly as he picked up a lively trot across the terra. Pistons lifting and dropping his weight evenly. His head carried high, boa in an arch as he launched into a canter tward the lands. Orbs glanced back at his beutifull dove, to see if she followed him. . . . \\ I'll post in the neutral terra.\\

She whinnied shrilly in happieness. Raising her bod into a rear, and leapt into a 3-beat. Her pillars ate the ground in long strides. Her tassel was raised, unfortunately letting her scent of heat out. She only wanted Fire Eater, and that was the only one she would get. Happily, she followed him to their new home. /\kay i post now/\
